The Celebration of the 111st Phillipine Independence Day in Dubai was successful according to the FilCom officers and Executive community who organized the events. They said successful because they raise fund for the benefits of our distress OFW here in Dubai.

The Philippine Independence Day (PID) Executive Committee is preparing for the 111th Philippine Independence Day Celebration to be held on June 12 at the Al Nasr Leisureland.
Arrangements are under way by the committee’s head Dante Delizo, with the cooperation of more than 40 Filipino Community organisations in Dubai and Northern Emirates.
The event will coincide with the 3rd Migrant Workers Day, which will be conducted in the morning after the flag-raising ceremony at the Philippine Consulate General in Al Ghusais.

Honest Pinoy bus driver in Dubai return Money that left from his bus

A Filipino driver Jonel Dignadisi personally turned over the money to the foreign tourist who left it inside his bus. I heared a different version of the exact value because according to GMA news TV it was about 470,000 dirhams (roughly P6..2 million) but according to Balitang Middle East (TFC) it was more 400,000 Iranian Rial (roughly more than 2000 dirhams only).
