DFA Consular Office Issues Advisory on Passport Applications

Manila 04 May 2011 – The Department of Foreign Affairs-Office of Consular Affairs (DFA-OCA) wishes to inform the public that measures have been put in place to address the delay in the processing and releasing of passports which are caused by the recent unprecedented increase in passport applications and other technical concerns.
The DFA will extend up to one year the validity of the current expiring passports of applicants who have urgent travel. Ngayon ko lang napatunayan na hanggang dito sa Dubai United Arab Emirates ay nakarating na ang mga buwaya (mga mapagsamantala) na ating kababayan. Buwaya na syang sumisira sa reputasyon nating mga Filipino. Mabigat man ang paratang na bibitawan ko (totoo man ito o hindi) dito, pero mahirap pong isipin na ang mga taong ito ay walang koneksyon sa loob ng ating Consulate sa Dubai.
